I hope everyone had a lovely holiday. I'm back and ready to tackle the new year (with quite a few resolutions - many of which I'm sure I'll never get around to. . .)

Pass the Cheer

I fell in love with the new Starbucks ad campaign upon seeing the Ski Lift commercial:

My love was then cemented with the Bear Hug commercial:

I think part of what makes these tv spots resonate with me so much, aside from the touching vignettes, is that the animation style reminds me of The Snowman (a very charming movie from the 80's - see below), albeit more sophisticatedly animated.
